Interior Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network Established

The Interior Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network has been formally established. The Department is responsible for the infrastructure, land and facilities of the Network: the relay sites, exchange points, data halls and cabling shared by member organizations, the land on which they stand, and the premises the Department makes available to members.
With its establishment complete, the Department today launches its official website at interior.gov.vin. The site will carry press releases, official statements, a register of the classes of shared infrastructure, and guidance on booking departmental facilities.
Further announcements regarding the Department's offices, the register of shared infrastructure, and points of contact will be published in the Newsroom as they become available.
