About the Department

The Interior Department of the Velocity Interoperability Network is responsible for the infrastructure, land and facilities of the Velocity Interoperability Network. It holds and maintains the relay sites, exchange points, data halls and cabling shared by member organizations, manages the land on which they stand, and makes departmental premises available to members for meetings, exercises and training.

The Department was established on 6 September 2026. The register of shared infrastructure, booking procedures for facilities, and points of contact will be published on this site as they are put in place.
